•                Identify your core purpose – aligning companies and their people to their journey to success (the purpose of Align)

•                How aligned is your product to your purpose?

•                Use the Scaling Up tool kit to help you create your alignment

•                Do your team know how they contribute to the success and bigger picture of your business

•                What do you do ‘on paper’ that you can make more efficient?

•                How do you help yourself think more strategically – and then capture it for all to see and act on?

•                What tools do you use to ensure goals and actions ‘flow down’ to all the team so they know what they are accountable for?

•                What communication rhythms do you run in your business? 

•                Accountability helps your identify issues at an individual level so you can best support the team

•                What does your scoreboard look like? How do you know where you are?

•                Why use quarterly objectives? What course corrections do you need to make to bring you back on track?

•                What are your key (2-3) measures in your business? Do you know the value of that measure today? If not, what needs to change?

•                Source and outcome measures – what are you focussed on?

  • E.g. To increase revenue by 20% what do you need to do?

•                Talk frequently about and measure your top priorities

•                What tools do you have that enable you to work on the business? (compared with working IN the business)

•                Where are you Checking IN rather than checking UP on people?

•                Do you (or your team) hide behind your excuses for not hitting your goals? What are you tracking and what’s the psychological impact of goal tracking?

•                How much time are you spending strategically vs operationally? How can you elevate yourself, if you run the business, to do more strategic work.

•                What goals do you set yourself? Write it down, measure it, track it… do it!

•                Work with a coach to drive and support your success… 😊
